Scout Popcorn season is here!

With the new Canadian Path program youth are encouraged to plan and execute their own program. One of the questions we ask is "how much will this cost and who will pay for it?" If the Beavers decide to go snowshoeing, or the Cubs cross-country skiing, or the Scouts Scuba diving, there will be costs involved. Do we need to rent equipment, pay for lessons, buy some gear? One answer is to fundraise for ourselves and this is where Scout Popcorn comes plays a role. By selling popcorn and raising money for their own programs the youth develop skills and an ownership of their experience.
